Chris Stimac is hands down the best in the business. Growing up on the Big Island, his local knowledge of both the area and the market is invaluable. Our favorite part about working with Chris is that he truly is a positive and kind person who brings the good vibes everywhere he goes, and in this market, you need that. He is also an excellent negotiator and sealed the deal for us on a house that we absolutely love and never thought we'd be able to get, and at a great price. We wanted to buy a new house, sight unseen, and contingent upon selling our present house. Of course, the new house had to "check our many boxes" before proceeding. More than a few realtors said we were seeking the impossible. Not Chris. He found us our new home with a seller who would work with us to make it happen, and then Chris really went to work. While solving the many common problems that arose, he made the extra effort to video the entire neighborhood and the two acres of property that went with the house, so we could be comfortable buying without seeing it. When we needed to ship a few items that the movers forgot, he stored them for us at his house. When we were scheduled to arrive, we could not rent a car; Chris allowed us to use his until our car arrived. At every turn, Chris went the extra mile for us, and throughout the process was always optimistic, cheerful, and helpful. …

My husband and I purchased a home here from another island, and Chris really made us feel comfortable handling everything, even when we were not always physically present. He walked us through the whole process with lots of expertise, always answered our calls and emails, negotiated skillfully for us, and he's got lots of humor and is very easy-going. I would give Chris 10 stars if Zillow had them! He was amazing at getting us a house in this super competitive market. We didn’t have an all-cash purchase, which typically makes it hard to get an offer accepted, but his ability to communicate with the sellers made our offer stand out and get accepted!
